DORRI’S DENTAL

What is Botox®? What are the benefits?

Wrinkles and fine lines will appear with aging and can make you look tired and old. While these are an integral part of the aging process, you are more likely to be concerned if they appear prematurely. Botox® helps reverse signs of aging, making you look younger and attractive. Botox® injections cause temporary relaxation of facial muscles. If you are having trouble with premature aging or want to look younger, our doctors at Dorri’s Dental provide specialized cosmetic services to help you achieve your goals.

How does Botox® work?

Botox® comprises purified protein that relaxes the facial muscles that cause fine lines, wrinkles, and folds. It helps reverse the aged look. It is also commonly used as a preventative measure for younger users who desire to prevent wrinkles’ premature emergence.

Botox® is made of a wide range of ingredients, with the most active one is botulinum toxin A, a neurotoxin. It works by relaxing and making the facial muscles still. The result is less noticeable wrinkles and smoother skin.

We use Botox® treatments to treat the following conditions:

  • Crow’s feet or wrinkles around the eyes
  • Glabellar lines or vertical lines between eyebrows
  • Wrinkles on the forehead

Some of the other treatable conditions include hyperhidrosis, blepharospasm, strabismus, migraines, and even muscle spasticity.

Why Botox®?

The most crucial benefit of Botox® is that it helps take years off your looks. You will both look and feel younger. This treatment allows you to achieve a youthful look for a fraction of what conventional treatments cost.

At Dorri’s Dental, we provide both Botox® treatment for our clients throughout Boynton Beach, FL, and the surrounding areas. If you are worried about the emergence of aging signs on your face, please call us today. You may also send us a message to discuss your concerns and fix an appointment.
